A Starring Role for the Marina Del Rey Marriott

Looking for a romantic movie for this weekend?  Check out the new movie Valentine’s Day.  Not only does it feature a slew of the most popular stars, it also features the Marina del Rey Marriott.  The hotel, which houses one of the country’s hottest bars, Glow (so said Playboy magazine), was also the home to this season’s Los Angeles auditions for American Idol. 

You might have caught the judges arriving at the hotel via helicopter, landed on the hotel’s rooftop helipad.  You can check it out by booking a romantic weekend at the hotel or by stopping by Glow Bar for a drink.

We knew it! We have stayed at this hotel several times and were positive that it was used for American Idol tryouts. We especially love the staff of the lobby bar!
