Marriott's Collection of Large Meeting Hotels & Resorts Launch New Tools to Make Searching, Planning and Billing Easier for Planners
Marriott’s new Innovention Network, a premier collection of 60 of the company’s largest meeting and convention hotels and resorts, is set to revolutionize the meetings industry with a new brand of service. The pre-convention to post-convention conveniences, including a streamlined billing system; a new meeting-focused website; and new communications procedures between the customers, event managers and general managers, will ensure a seamless meeting experience.
Beginning with the initial search, the new Innovention Network web site, allows meeting planners to search by a combination of whatever is most important to them, including location, total meeting space, largest ballroom needed, peak rooms, and golf or spa amenities. As they make their selections, they can see which hotels best match their needs.

The Innovention Network hotels work together to make the entire meeting planning process a breeze for the planner. Once one large meeting is over, a call to discuss what worked, what didn’t work and what should be changed for the following year is planned between the meeting planner, the event managers and the general managers from the meeting that just concluded and the customer’s future meeting. The event highlights, area of focus, service deliveries, staffing levels and opportunities to shine are all covered in this post-convention hand off. In addition, all hotels in the network have access to past records so the meeting does not have to start from scratch each year. Marriott is also introducing new group billing options to make bill review more efficient.
