Marriott Takes Top Prizes in Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards

Travel WeeklyNamed Best Sales & Service and Best US Hotel Chain.

Readers of Travel Weekly magazine have honored Marriott International for the eighth year in a row in two categories, Best Domestic Chains and Best Sales & Service at the 2011 Readers Choice Awards. 

The magazine asked readers to write in the names of the companies they thought best exemplified a particular category. Finalists were identified and readers voted on the finalists this past fall. 

“Being named the best in these two categories by those who live and breathe travel every day, is one of the greatest honors we can receive,” said David Townshend, senior vice president, Marriott Global Sales.
