Marriott Cares How Business Gets Done
Marriott International has been named one of the 2013 World's Most Ethical Companies (WME) by the Ethisphere Institute. This is the sixth time the company has been recognized by Ethisphere for its commitment to maintaining superior business practices.
In selecting the World's Most Ethical Companies, Ethisphere considered codes of ethics; investments in innovation and sustainable business practice activities of corporate citizenship; and nominations from senior executives, industry peers, suppliers and customers.
"Operating our business with integrity has been a pillar of our culture since Marriott's founding more than 85 years ago," said Ed Ryan, Marriott International's Executive Vice President and General Counsel. "We are proud of this recognition and remain committed to constantly evaluating our efforts and looking for new ways to ensure our worldwide business operations are conducted in an ethical and socially responsible manner."
Marriott is consistently recognized as a top employer and for its superior business operations, which it conducts based on five core values: put people first, pursue excellence, embrace change, act with integrity and serve our world.
