Renaissance Hotels Partners with Harlem’s Fashion Row
BETHESDA, MD - Renaissance Hotels (www.renhotels.com), the hotel brand designed to help guests Live Life to DiscoverSM, has partnered with Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR), an arts and entertainment organization that engages audience and aligns brand partners with emerging fashion designers of color, to showcase the work of twelve designers at the Second Annual HFR Pop Up Shop on September 5th.
As part of the partnership with HFR, Renaissance will showcase two unique experiences at its two boutique New York hotels including a private luncheon at Renaissance New York Hotel 57 for fashion influencers on September 4th. The following day, the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel will transform its lobby lounge area into twelve designer boutiques for guests to discover and explore including B. Marie, Crystal Streets, Jessie Adore, and Bruce and Glen who will be participating for their second consecutive year as well as first year designer contributors Harriette Cole, Kimberly Goldson, Kahindo Mateene. Live models will help showcase the designer pieces as guests enjoy music curated by RLife LIVE, the exclusive entertainment program of Renaissance Hotels.
The collaboration between Renaissance Hotels and HFR spotlights up and coming diverse talent while offering hotel guests and attendees the opportunity to discover the best of fashion design. ABOUT HARLEM’S FASHION ROW
HFR has a sole mission to increase diversity in fashion by discovering emerging fashion designers of color and showcase their unique fashion lines to audiences and brand partners. HFR is a media generated movement uncovering and defining new artistic, cultural, and social trends. Founder Brandice Henderson had twelve years of experience in fashion before making the move to New York City eventually attending a fashion show in Brooklyn that influenced her to create HFR. In August of 2007 the first HFR event was a success. Since then HFR has grown immensely, and is now celebrating their 6th Fashion Show during renowned New York Fashion Week.
