Leading Greek airline Aegean and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) today announced an exciting new partnership, bringing a selection of exclusive benefits to their award-winning loyalty programs – Miles+Bonus and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG®).
SPG members can now convert their Starpoints into Aegean Miles+Bonus award miles. In addition, SPG members will be given an extra 5,000 miles for every 20,000 Starpoints converted to Aegean Miles+Bonus award miles.

Aegean Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, is Greece’s largest airline providing at its inception in 1999 until today, full service, premium quality short and medium haul services.
In 2013 AEGEAN acquired Olympic Air; as a result passengers now have increased flight frequencies and connections as well as improved accessibility to Greece’s islands, including some of the more remote, both for visitors and Greeks alike. Total traffic of both companies reached 10,1m passengers in 2014 and is expected to reach 11,6m in 2015.

The flights will be performed with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, comprising 58 aircraft, after AEGEAN´s recent investment in new additional Airbus A320ceos.
