Our hearts go out to the people and communities that have been impacted by Hurricane Matthew. There were many Marriott properties in the path of storm. Thankfully, we have no reports of guest or associate injuries. While most of our hotels are open, we are assessing the extent of impact on each hotel and efforts are underway to fully restore operations in those properties more significantly affected by the storm. We express our appreciation to associates who have helped coworkers, guests, local authorities and members of their community to weather the storm.
Generally, we waive cancellation fees for guests holding confirmed reservations at the hotels that have been affected by the storm. However, hotels reserve the right to make this decision on a case-by-case basis. For information regarding reservations, please call (800) 228-9290. Those in countries outside of the United States seeking information about the impact of the storm should call the Marriott International toll-free number in their country.
Support Recovery Efforts Marriott International supports the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the American Red Cross through annual contributions to support disaster relief; this year we are directing these annual grants to Hurricane Matthew relief efforts. Many individuals have asked how they might join Marriott in assisting those in areas impacted by this storm. If you would like to help people affected by Hurricane Matthew, the following non-profit, non-government organizations (NGOs) are working to provide short- and long-term support:

Loyalty Donations Members of our Marriott Rewards®, Starwood Preferred Guest ® and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards® loyalty programs have the option of donating points for contributions to the American Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Members donate millions of points each year in support of charitable organizations like the Red Cross which align with Marriott’s community engagement strategy. We will match point contributions* through October 31, 2016.
