The Luxury Collection Unveils Extensive Redesign of The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician

Following a three-month refurbishment, The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, has re-opened its doors to a new luxury in style and experience.  Now featuring a more contemporary, residential design complemented by enhanced service and curated offerings, The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician honors both its guests and its Sonoran Desert surroundings.

The overall design concept, created by Wimberly Interiors and incorporating the vision of Owner, Host Hotels & Resorts, is rooted in luxury and layered with details that define the destination’s history, location and culture.  Accommodations welcome the guest into a retreat setting through finishes, materials and art.  A redesign of all suites and guestrooms in the property’s 62-room renovation project includes new contemporary furnishings, wood-grained entryways and plush interior carpeting, upholstered headboards, quartz stone countertops and vanities, and locally sourced artwork.  Outdoor patios and terraces of each room feature new tiling and furniture, including spacious, round daybeds.

In addition to reimagining its guestrooms and suites, the hotel’s amenities and signature services have also been enhanced.  The main lobby is now home to The Canyon Lounge, offering elevated epicurean experiences – including a daily, complimentary breakfast, along with premium boutique wines and craft cocktails throughout the late afternoon/evening.  A hiking gear lending program complete with backpack, trekking poles, snacks and first aid items for visiting the nearby Cholla Trail at Camelback Mountain is also available.  Outdoors, the private infinity Canyon Pool features a new Pebble Tec surface, while adjacent cabanas have been revamped with new artwork and furnishings.
