Renaissance Hotels Debuts in Poland

Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel Takes Off With Dramatic Design that Sets the Stage for the Spontaneous

Renaissance Hotels, part of Marriott International, today announced the brand’s debut in Poland with the opening of Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel – reinforcing the its significant growth momentum around the world. With plans to debut 16 hotels in the next 12 months globally, Renaissance Hotels will continue to revamp the staid airport hotel experience – introducing Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel in November 2018 following the recent design-driven opening of Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel late last year.

”As global air travel demand continues to grow, there is an increasing opportunity to reimagine airport hotels through clever, theatrical design and engaging guest experiences,” said George Fleck, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing & Management, Renaissance Hotels. ”We are thrilled to introduce Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel, whose design coupled with our savvy Navigators and entertaining Evening Bar Rituals provides an open invitation to experience something a little unexpected during our guests’ travels.”

Ideally located for easy access to the airport and surrounding business parks, and just 20 minutes from Warsaw city center, the hotel boasts 225 stylish rooms and suites whose modernist-inspired interiors are complemented by graphic art from renowned Polish Poster Gallery, bringing a sense of local soul and creating unexpected moments of discovery. Looking to the avant-garde modernism of the 1930s, 1960s and today, the hotel’s design features modern pops of primary colors in its art, textiles and furniture, inspired by the fashion, graphic design and pop culture of the time.

“We are delighted to debut the Renaissance brand in Poland with the opening of Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel,” said John Licence, Vice President Premium and Select Brands Europe at Marriott International. "Today’s travelers see every journey as a chance to be inspired by the unexpected and Renaissance provides the perfect lens through which to uncover the hidden gems of this vibrant city.”

The spacious lobby area invites curious and adventurous guests to visit the Discovery Table to connect with the hotel’s Navigators who are on-hand to propose handpicked experiences that invite guests to go “off-script” and discover something that can’t be found in the guide books.  Additional public spaces include a signature restaurant offering local Polish cuisine with a modern twist, as well as hotel bar that plays host to inspiring social events including the nightly Renaissance Bar Ritual.

With an idyllic spa and wellness area, complete with swimming pool, the hotel offers guests a retreat to relax and unwind in the midst of their travels. Business travelers are also catered to with state-of-the-art conference facilities including a main ballroom plus seven meeting rooms, offering versatile meeting space with ultra-modern sound and lighting systems, and a spacious outdoor terrace.
