Stephanie Linnartz is one of the most influential players in the travel, leisure, and lifestyle space. She oversees a wide range of critical business functions at Marriott International, with a portfolio of more than one million rooms; 7,000 properties; and 30 leading hotel brands spanning 131 countries and territories with 750,000+ managed and franchise associates. Stephanie is responsible for all aspects of brand management, sales, marketing, revenue management, digital, distribution, consumer insights + innovation, and information technology worldwide.

In her role as Global Chief Commercial Officer, Stephanie is focused on the blend of technology and human touch throughout the travel journey to deepen customer loyalty. Stephanie also oversees consumer interaction with Marriott Bonvoy™, one of the largest global loyalty programs, and some of the world’s most well-known hotel brands, including The Ritz-Carlton®, St. Regis® Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection®, Marriott Hotels®, Sheraton®, W® Hotels Worldwide, Courtyard®, Residence Inn®, Westin®, Renaissance® Hotels, and Le Méridien®. The company’s recent launch of a home rental offering, Homes & Villas by Marriott International, is the latest example of innovation on behalf of the guest and will be managed and grown under Stephanie’s leadership.
Stephanie has been a speaker at the World Economic Forum and is a sought-after conference panelist. Her professional ascent has been covered by multiple media outlets, including FORTUNE, where she also contributes commentary for the magazine’s popular “Most Powerful Women” series. Growing up in a hotel industry family, Stephanie started her career at Hilton Hotels Corporation. She joined Marriott in 1997 as a financial analyst, and worked in various roles within finance, revenue management, sales, and marketing. Stephanie is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, holds an MBA from William & Mary, and has completed additional graduate studies at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Development. She is a member of the Marriott International Board of Director’s Committee for Excellence, and the company’s Diversity and Inclusion and Green Councils. Stephanie also serves on the Board of Directors for The Home Depot Inc., the world’s largest home improvement retailer; the Board of Trustees for the College of the Holy Cross; and, as an Advisory Board member of both Fair Chance (a non-profit focused on transforming the lives of children living in poverty in the District of Columbia) and the Teach the World Foundation. Stephanie travels the world extensively, is an avid runner, and resides in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and two children.
