Marriott Celebrates DC Central Kitchen’s Milestone 100th Graduation

Local nonprofit and social enterprise DC Central Kitchen (DCCK) recently celebrated its milestone 100th graduation.  Brad Nelson, (pictured) Vice President, Food & Beverage Culinary and Global Corporate Chef of Marriott International, delivered remarks as part of the celebration. Sixteen graduates (some pictured) DC Central Kitchen gradsof the Culinary Job Training Program were recognized for their perseverance in overcoming chronic unemployment to begin culinary careers. DCCK’s 100th Class is sponsored by the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation and the students’ educational experiences were provided by Marriott International.
