Eighty-Three Marriott International Hotels Recognized in the 2016 U.S. News & World Report Best Hotels Rankings

Five of Marriott International’s Luxury + Lifestyle portfolio brands earned Gold and Silver Accolades on the 2016 U.S. News list

U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of consumer advice and information, recognized 83 Marriott International hotels as hospitality leaders in its annual Best Hotels evaluation of hotels that offer high-quality amenities and exceptional experiences. Marriott International’s celebrated brands within its Luxury + Lifestyle portfolio in this year’s report include Autograph Collection Hotels, EDITION Hotels, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, alongside Marriott Hotels.

The impressive accolades were announced on the heels of the Luxury + Lifestyle portfolio’s latest opening – JW Marriott Los Cabos Resort & Spa, a new 299-room property located within the dunes of the pristine coast of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. The Best Hotels methodology combines a hotel’s industry accolades with expert and guest reviews as well as hotel class ratings. U.S. News scored luxury hotels, identifying the top ten percent in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean with Gold badges and the top 30 percent within specific markets with Silver badges. The rankings feature more 2,500 hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
